Anet M. “Dolly” Golias, 101, of Niles passed away on Friday January 7, 2022 at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland.
She was born September 19, 1920 in Niles the daughter of James and Carmel Fagnano Dalessandro.
Anet was a 1938 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, member of St. Vincent DePaul Society, enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and spending time with family especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her husband John J. Golias Sr. whom she married November 5, 1949 died April 14, 1996.
She will be deeply missed by her son John J. Golias Jr. and his wife Jackie of Niles, her brother James Dalessandro and his wife JoAnn of Warren, two grandchildren, Justin Golias and his wife Danielle and Jenna Golias, and two great-grandchildren, Joey and Cece.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Dalessandro, Alfred Dalessandro, and Louis Dalessandro, and three sisters, Rose Bruno, Angie Rock, and Lola Dalessandro.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where the Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Friday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 10:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Facial coverings are mandatory for all family and friends coming to pay their respects at the funeral home or at church.Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
