Arthur Kalman 90, of Howland, passed away on Saturday March 12, 2022 at Washington Square Nursing Home in Warren
He was born February 20, 1932 in Niles the son of Adam and Helen Witucki Kalman.
Art was a 1950 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and graduated from Youngstown College while studying engineering. He was employed as an industrial engineer at Van Huffel Sheet and Tube for more then 30 years and also at Easco Aluminum.
Art was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, Warren Knights of Columbus, enjoyed bowling, golfing, reading, woodworking, and walking.
He was a United States Army veteran of The Korean War.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Rosemarie Guarino Kalman whom he married November 29, 1974, a son Adam Kalman and his wife Kerri of St. Petersburg, Florida, a daughter Laura Lumpkin and her husband Adam of Howland, a sister Dolores Crockett and her husband Al of Howland, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Kalman and Ted Kalman, and two sisters, Marie Szepeitowski and Bernadiene Snowberger.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 10:30AM prayer service at the funeral Home.
Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery where Art will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
