Barbara J. Howe, 82, of Niles, passed away at 10:00PM Tuesday April 6, 2021 at Antonine Village in North Jackson.
She was born January 26, 1939 in Weirton, West Virginia the daughter of Perry and Margaret Jefferies Porter.
Barbara was a graduate of New Cumberland High School, employed at Youngstown Sheet and Tube, Republic Steel, and Waterford Park(Montaineer). She was a member of The American Legion Post #473, enjoyed golfing and bowling.
She will be deeply missed by three sons, Herman “Herk” Koeppen of
Oregon, Brian “Moose” Koeppen of Struthers, Thomas Howe of Youngstown, two daughters, Jackie Fullermen(Scott Grope) of Youngstown, Sharon “Shoes” Jamieson(Eric) of Niles, a brother Bruce Porter of Newell, West Virginia, three sisters, Annetta Williams(Bob) of Weirton West Virginia, Judy Hennen,of West Liberty, West Virginia and Cindy Skalican of Wheeling, West Virginia, nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Howe whom she married May 21, 1969, four brothers, Junior, Carlos, James, and William Porter,her sister Ernestein Friera, and her former husband Herman Koeppen.

Cremation will take place. There are no services at this time.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
