Carole L. Rich

Carole L. Rich, 73, of Niles, passed away at 5:00AM Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Shepherd of The Valley Liberty.
She was born February 20, 1947 in Youngstown the daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth “Betty” Milek Newhouse.
She was a 1965 graduate of McDonald High School where she was a member of the swim team and the cheerleading squad.
Carole was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles , enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing racquetball, bowling, and avid Ohio State Football, and Cleveland Indians fan.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Joseph J. Rich, three sons, Joe Rich and his wife Karen of Girard, Mark Rich and his wife Fanny of Niles, and Shawn Rich and his wife Patty of Niles, two brothers Clarence Newhouse and his wife Lynette of Naples, Florida, and Ronald Newhouse of Austintown, and eight grandchildren, Natalie, Tanner, Tyler, Leah, Gavin, Noah, Chad, and Blair.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services are private.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
