Carrie R. Falcione, 96, of Niles, passed away at 5:14PM Monday May 24, 2021 at Gracewoods Senior Living in Niles.
She was born August 8, 1924 in Niles the daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth Rossi Carano.
Carrie was a 1942 graduate of Youngstown South High School, employed as a secretary at Lou Carbone Plumbing and Applewood Gardens retiring in 1990. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, festival volunteer, Blessed Mother Society, and Niles Knights of Columbus Council 1681 Ladies Auxillary.
She enjoyed baking, shopping, and was very proud of her grandchildren.
Her husband Angelo Falcione whom she married February 1, 1947 died April 9, 2014.
She will be deeply missed by two daughters, Kathleen Ciminero of Niles and Janis Falcione Neuman of Fort Myers, Florida, three grandchildren, Natalie Ciminero and her wife Arlene O’Reilly of Nantucket, Massachusetts, Keri Grim and her husband Mark of Howland, and Angelo Ciminero and his wife Melissa of Canfield, and a great-granddaughter Gianna Evangelista Grim.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosalind Berardino, Gloria Carroll, Antoinette Mascioli, and two son-in-laws, Matthew Ciminero and James Neuman.
Friends may call from 9:30AM up until the time of the 10:00AM funeral service Saturday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Facial coverings are mandatory at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
