Dolores F. Naples, 85, of Niles, passed away on Monday July 5, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Joseph’s Warren Hospital.
She was born June 8, 1936 in Baltimore Maryland the daughter of Victor and Francis Golembowski Sibera.
Dolores was a 1954 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and started off her career as a clothes buyer for a women’s fashion store. She was employed as a secretary for Trumbull County prosecutor Dennis Watkins for 13 years. She ran family rental properties and the tenants just adored her.
She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles, she loved playing volleyball, badminton, and also softball with her daughters where they won many tournaments. In her 60s she had the championship winning diving catch. She was the most competitive. She was good at everything. She was her grandchildren’s number one fan and was at every sporting event and competition there was. All the referees knew her because she kept them in line. She loved dancing and was crowned Queen of Jitterbug with her brother. She played sports until she passed.
Dolores was extremely intelligent and witty. She was the one the family went to for everything and she gave the best advice.
She enjoyed watching Cowboy movies, Law & Order, the news and scary movies with her grandson. She loved playing cards with the family and would always win.
She was deeply admired by everyone who knew her. Everyone called her “Mom” or “Grandma.” The amount of love she gave and the amount of love everyone had for her was incomparable. She was the purest person you would ever meet. She gave the most unconditional love to her family and gave every ounce of herself. More than anything she loved doing things for her grandchildren.
She was the funniest person and was the source of so many belly laughs. She loved the family vacations and was always the life of the party.
She will be deeply missed by two daughters, Denise Lynn Naples of Niles and Lisa Marie Naples, with whom she made her home, and two grandchildren, Dakota Lis’ Marie Naples and Kross Anthony Naples. She is also survived by Gina Walker and family, Victor Sibera Jr. and Amanda, Desiree Sibera, and her brother’s wife Theresa Siberia and children.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor Sibera and Ronnie Sibera.
She was taken away too soon, it was not her time.
