Frank A. Ledenko Sr.

Frank A. Ledenko Sr, 87, of Niles passed away on Monday January 17, 2022 at his residence.
He was born October 3, 1934 in McDonald, Ohio the son of Frank A. and Anna Gagosh Ledenko.
Frank was a 1952 graduate of McDonald High School and employed for 30 years at General Motors Lordstown retiring in 1996.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, Warren Moose Lodge #688, ITAM #39 in Niles, San Fellipe Lodge in Niles, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, canning peppers and mushrooms, spending time with his family, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Donna Maiorana Ledenko whom he married May 28, 1955, a son, Frank A. Ledenko Jr. and his wife Geri-Ann of Niles, a daughter Karen Accordino and her husband Phillip of Niles, a son ,James Ledenko and his wife Tammy of Girard, seven grandchildren, Nicole Accordino, Russell Accordino and his wife Danielle, Gina Accordino, Michael Ledenko(Maggie Sturm), Anthony Ledenko, Jim Ledenko, and Patrick Ledenko, a great-grandchild due in March, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by six sisters, Olga Comisa, Katherine Kunovich, Margaret Ledenko, Peggy Ceroli, Joan Ledenko, and Helen Maderitz.
Friends may call from 4 to 7PM Friday at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM  Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Facial coverings are mandatory for all family and friends coming to pay their respects at the funeral home or at the church.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
