Gaetano Ferone

Gaetano Ferone,  66, of Mineral Ridge, passed away on Tuesday October 27, 2020 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth’s Youngstown Hospital.
He was born July 15, 1954 in Mugnano del Cardinale, Italy, the son of Alessandro Ferone and Carmela Nappi.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mineral Ridge, was employed at Easco Aluminum in Girard and also at Vinyl Profiles in North Jackson as a foreman. Guy enjoyed fishing, cooking, the beach, and spending time with his wife, kids, family, and friends.. He was an avid Browns, Indians, Cavs, and Italian Soccer fan.
He will be deeply missed by his mother of Italy, his wife Nicoletta DeGennaro Ferone, whom he married February 3, 1973, two sons, Alessandro Ferone and his wife Jennifer of Cleveland and Benigno Ferone and his wife Jennifer of Austintown, a brother Salvatore Ferone of Taranto, Italy, a sister Guseppina Ferone(Nicola Annuziata) of Mugnano del Cardinale, Italy, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
Friends may call from 9:30AM to 10:30AM Saturday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Due to the current health situation, social distancing measures are expected to be observed and friends coming to pay respects to the family are kindly asked to promptly depart the funeral home after doing so. Facial coverings are mandatory.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mineral Ridge where social distancing and facial coverings are mandatory.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
