Gary L. Mymo Sr., 62, of Niles, passed away on Saturday May 15, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
He was born October 8, 1958 in Warren the son of Sam and Betty Jane Neff Mymo.
Gary was a 1977 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed as a welder, bender, and fitter at Reichard Industries for 20 years, a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, and a member of the Niles Bowling Association. He also coached softball and umpired for the Niles Youth League for many years.He enjoyed bowling, Civil War History, and was an avid baseball fan especially of The Cleveland Indians. He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved doing puzzles, going antiquing, swimming, bocce and fishing.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Michelle Luther Mymo whom he married in 1987, a daughter Alethea DiCristofaro and her husband Adam of Niles, a brother Sam Mymo and his wife Peggy, a sister Linda Rouzer and her husband Gary, and four grandchildren, Madison Mymo, Hannah Mymo, Roman Landerfield, and Rella DiCristofaro.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gary L. Mymo Jr., his parents, and a brother Anthony Mymo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Saturday June 5, 2021 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles where social distancing and facial coverings are mandatory.
