Gerard Trudell Obituary

Gerard G. Trudell, 96, of Niles passed away on his birthday February 20, 2021 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, with his son Larry by his side.

Gerard was born February 20, 1925 in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of Leo and Irma Trudell. He is survived by his son Lawrence Trudell and companion Allie Campbell of Niles, Daughter-in-law Candice Trudell of Niles, two grandsons Jerry Trudell and his wife Melanie of Columbus, Christian Trudell and wife Alicia of Cleveland and three great-grandchildren Emma, Jackson and Natalie.

Gerard served in the Marines during World War II. He worked for 34 years at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna and for 10 years at Niles City schools.

He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Scott Trudell and son Gerald Scott Trudell.

Due to Covid-19 there will be no calling hours and the funeral services will be private.
