James A Bellitt

James A. Bellitt, 94, of Warren, passed away on Sunday June 4, 2023 at Community Skilled Health Care in Warren. 
He was born September 21, 1928 in Youngstown, Ohio the son of Nicholas and Frances Bernard Bellitt. 
James was a 1947 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was employed as a welder at Youngstown Steel Door for 35 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Niles, Mecca Moose Lodge, enjoyed sports, boating and fishing. He was also a United States Army veteran of World War II. 
His wife Dorothy Smith Bellitt died June 23, 1976.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter Mary Farley and her husband John of Hiram, two grandchildren Nicole Penick and Belinda Martinez, great grandson Cosmo, and his long time companion Minnie Wolf.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Guy Bellitt, Pat Bellitt and Nick Bellitt.
The family would like to thank Community Skilled Health Care Center for their kind and compassionate care of James.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in The Veteran Section of Niles City Cemetery where James will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
