James W. Howell

James W. Howell, 79, of Niles died at 6:25am Tuesday November 1, 2022 at St.Joseph Hospital in Warren. 

Jim was born on January 31, 1943 in Tygarts Valley, West Virginia, the son of Cecil and Blanche Hannah Howell. 

A 1961 graduate of Tygarts Valley High School, Jim was employed as a plant manager at Easco Aluminum and Alcan Aluminum and was a member of Evansville Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, camping and was a United States Army Veteran. 

Jim will be deeply missed by his wife Betty Combs Howell, whom he married July 1, 1964, two sons Rob Howell and his wife Kellie of Cumming, Georgia, Terry Howell and his wife Tania of Champion, a daughter Sherry Roberts and her husband Louie of Easley, South Carolina, a sister Mary Jo Lawton of Warren, nine grandchildren Sam, Molly, Jack, Griffin, Sophie, Ava Howell, Anthony, Ashley, Michael Roberts and four great grandchildren Avery, Emmy, Connor and Kelsey.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Polly Doyle.

 Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday November 5th at the Joseph Rossi and Sons 
Funeral Home in Niles, where friends and family may call 30 minutes prior.
