Jennie J. Strong

Jennie Joan D'Andrea Strong, 83, of McDonald, passed away on Monday September 13, 2021 at her residence.
She was born May 22 1938 in Niles the daughter of John and Rose LoSasso D’Andrea.
Jennie was employed at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish as a cook, a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed cooking  and playing cards.
She will be sadly missed by her husband John R. Strong Sr. whom she married October 5, 1974, three sons, David Allen Strong and his wife Monica of McDonald, Richard Strong and his wife Diana of Sanibel, Florida, and John R. Strong Jr. and his wife Joyce of Cortland, two daughters, Thelma Sindledecker of Warren and Esther Markle and her husband Michael of Yuma, Arizona, a brother Joe D’Andrea and his wife Trudy of Warren, a sister Ann D’Andrea of Niles, three grandchildren, Jeremy Strong of Warren, Sheena Markle of Girard, and Matthew Markle of Denver, Colorado, two great-grandchildren, four nephews, and seven great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parent, a sister Julia D’Andrea, and a son-in-law Scott Sindledecker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
