Juanita M. Rivera

Juanita M. Rivera, 93, of Lordstown, died at 2:45 PM Monday February 20, 2023 at Austinwoods Nursing Home in Austintown.
She was born March 27, 1929 in Puerto Rico, the daughter of Tomas and Maria Santiago Rivera. Juanita was of Catholic faith and enjoyed cooking, sewing, embroidering and crocheting.
Her husband Angel Luis Zayas, whom she married September 26, 1946 died August 25, 1995.  She will be deeply missed by two sons Jose Miguel Zayas of Austintown,  Juan Zayas of Niles, three daughters Margaret Alvarez and her husband William of Lordstown, Lydia Morales (Brian Wynn) of Clearwater, Florida, Esther Zayas and her husband Juan Jose Diaz of Puerto Rico, several brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
 She is preceded in death by two sons William Zayas and Luis Zayas Jr., daughter-in-law Lauralie Zayas and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call  Friday from 10 AM until the time of the 11 AM funeral services at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles, officiated by Chaplin Neil Appell.
Burial will be in Lordstown Cemetery.
