Kathleen E. Bernard

Kathleen E. Bernard, 84, of Niles, passed away on Sunday April 24, 2022 at Gillette Nursing Home in Warren.
She was born December 8, 1937 in Warren the daughter of James and Florence Early McFall.
Kathleen was a 1956 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for her family. In her free time she enjoyed bowling, BINGO and playing cards with her sisters.
Her husband Nick A. Bernard Sr. whom she married August 24, 1957, died June 15, 2017.
Kathleen will be deeply missed by two sons, Nick A. Bernard Jr. of Niles,Jason Bernard of Parkersburg, West Virginia, two daughters Patty Smith and her husband Jeff of Niles, and Polly Milijons of Bazetta, five grandchildren, Maggie, Mathew, Jacqueline, Breana, and Erica, and six great-grandchildren, Carter, Kara, Nicholas, Vincent, Matthew, and Aubriella.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Solida, three brothers, James McFall, Robert McFall, and Richard McFall, and two sisters, Mary Ann Pettenati and Patricia O’Malley.
Friends may call from 8:30AM to 9:30AM Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery. Arrangements handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
