Kathleen A Crish

Kathleen A. Crish, 78, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday August 2, 2023 at Shepherd of The Valley Liberty.
She was born November 11, 1944 in Warren the daughter of John and Dorothy Atkinson Ellwood.
She was a 1962 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and employed as an administrative assistant for John Hancock Life Insurance for 50 years retiring in 2001. 
Kathleen was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Niles, Blessed Mother Society, enjoyed traveling, camping, casino trips, cooking especially for large family gatherings and Christmas Eve, and also was known as being the best kolachi maker in the area.
She will be deeply missed by her husband David L. Crish Sr. whom she married November 7, 1964, two sons, David L. Crish Jr. and his wife Kolleen of Cortland and Timothy Crish and his wife Annmarie of Niles, two sisters, Susan Crish of Niles, and Jacqui Mikulic of Flagstaff, Arizona, four grandchildren, Christina Mendenhall, Jessica Crish, Antonio Crish, and Mara Crish, two great-grandchildren, Macie Mendenhall and Charlie Mendenhall, and sister-in-law Maria McGaha of Simpsonville, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Philip Crish.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where the Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church with Fr. Steven Agostino officiating, preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
