Kristin Miller Obituary

Kristin Lynn Miller, 38, was called to Heaven on Monday, May 30, 2022, from her home in Liberty, very unexpectedly. Kristin was born October 14,1983, to Greg Miller(Niles) and Terri Herron, with whom she shared her home. Kristin graduated in 2002 from Niles Mckinley High School and Trumbull Career and Technical Center, where she completed the Animal Management Program. She continued Her education at Western School of Health and business careers, Pittsburgh completing the veterinarian technology course in 2004. From a very young age, Kristin had a unique relationship with animals. She could almost magically calm the most anxious, hyperactive pets with minimal effort. Animals could immediately sense they had a precious companion in Kristin. Kristin started her career at Town and Country Veterinary hospital, an award- winning Animal Hospital in Warren. Kristin always went above and beyond to make the animals comfortable, often brushing their hair and grooming them, in addition to providing the medical care they needed. Kristin moved to Lakeland, FL in 2011, where she continued her career as a veterinarian technician at TLC PetSnip, Inc. Eventually, in 2016, she became a self employed pet groomer. She very quickly built an excellent following, leading her to join the Hydrodog mobile pet grooming company in Clearwater, FL. Kristin returned to Youngstown in 2016, where she continued her professional pet grooming career. She brought the first Hydrodog Mobile Pet Grooming vehicle to Ohio, in 2021. She named her mobile unit, Hydrodog “Boomer” after a precious goldendoodle that had been her family's pet for many years. She was honored with a ribbon cutting ceremony in Boardman. In addition, Kristin was an educator, training groomers for the Hydrodog Franchise. She did shows at local elementary schools, allowing the students to tour the Hydrodog vehicle. She participated in the Mother's Day Expo and the Women in Business Conference at the Metroplex Expo Center in Girard. Her desire to be successful was very apparent. She often posted before and after photos of the pets she groomed and the transformations were amazing. Kristin did volunteer work at many of the local animal shelters. She was truly loved and genuinely appreciated everywhere she went. In addition to her love of animals, she enjoyed concerts, movies, bowling, camping, and bonfires. Kristin passed the love of animals onto her children, Kadence Westbay and Kammie Bonnell, both at home. They were all very active members of the Trumbull County 4H and competed at the horse shows at Trumbull County Fair. Often her girls worked closely by her side, assisting with the Mobile Pet Grooming. Kadence will continue the mobile pet grooming business on a limited basis. In addition to her parents and children, Kristin is survived by her brother Burton (Crystal) Miller Sr. nephews Brandon, Gregory, Gage, Alan, and Burton Jr. all of Masury, and a niece Harley of Hubbard. Aunts Pam Miller of Cleveland, Rebecca Mosley Gomsi of Warren and Marianne Morrow Stinson of Virginia Beach, VA, and several cousins. Kristin leaves many cherished pets, Dogs: Denver and Remi, Cats: Smores, Chaz and Boots, chickens, ducks, a turkey and a horse. Kristin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Marjorie Miller, James and Dolores Morrow, and her precious goldendoodle Boomer.
