Linda S. Chuirazzi, 76, of Girard, passed away on Monday January 8, 2024 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren.
She was born October 28, 1947 in Warren the daughter of Lyle and Imogene Hughes Sprague.
Linda was a 1966 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed at Alberini’s Restaurant for two years, and then at Packard Electric from 1968 to 1999.
She attended Liberty Assembly of God where she founded “Special Saints” which was where she taught the special needs members of the church. She was also a member of TOPS Club incorporated Youngstown #1497, and Union Local 717 Retirees.
She enjoyed sewing, crafts, baking, spending time with her family, and cooking; especially family dinners during the holidays.
She will be sadly missed by her husband John “Butch” Chuirazzi whom she married February 14, 1970, three daughters, Marietta Burks and her husband Jim of New Castle, Indiana, Jacqueline Giddings of Girard, and Angela King and her husband Andrew of Pittsburgh, two brothers, George Sprague and his wife Pam of Niles, and Donald Sprague of Niles, a sister Wendy Butler of Girard, eight grandchildren, Peyton Burks, Carson DiGenova and her husband Austin, Paxton Burks, Camryn Burks, Sadie Giddings(Brandon Snyder), James Giddings IV, Xander King, and Jaxson King, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister Lila Koston.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7PM and 10 to 11AM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
