Lois Ann Miller, 94, of Vienna, passed away at 6:05PM Sunday July 19, 2020 at her residence.
She was born October 15, 1925 in Youngstown the daughter of Wallace and Ellen McIntee Allar.
Lois was a 1944 graduate of Struthers High School and a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing. She retired as a Registered Nurse from St. Joseph’s Riverside Hospital in Warren.
Lois was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Warren, member and secretary of The American Heart Association of Trumbull County, enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, an avid reader and gardener, and met every spring and fall with her nursing friends for lunch.
Her husband Warren Miller whom she married February 7, 1948 died March 16, 2007.
She will be sadly missed by her son Donald Miller and his wife Anita of Howland, her two daughters, Kathleen Migliozzi, with whom she made her home, Mary Jo Rausch Larson of Columbus, her sister, Mary DelliQuadri of Poland, eight grandchildren, Stacie DelliQuadri and her husband Carmine, Christopher Migliozzi and his wife Angela, Patrick Migliozzi and his wife Rebecca, Jonathon Rausch and his wife Abigail, Danielle Baker and her husband Brian, Michael Rausch, Nicholas Miller and his wife Sandra, and Nathan Miller, eleven great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law Lana Miller of Plano, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas P. Miller, a great-grandson Patrick DelliQuadri, a brother, Thomas Allar, and a son-in-law Patrick Migliozzi.
Friends may call Thursday from 9AM to 10AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Due to the current health situation, social distancing measures are expected to be observed and friends coming to pay respects to the family are kindly asked to promptly depart the funeral home after doing so. Facial coverings are mandatory please.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Warren where social distancing and facial coverings are mandatory also. There will also be no formal procession to the church and cemetery.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
