Marie C Accordino

Marie C. Accordino, 93, of Niles, passed away on Friday September 2, 2022 at Antonine Village in North Jackson.
She was born March 1, 1929 in Lowellville the daughter of Frank and Marie Antonette Marzano Cordy.
Marie was a 1947 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was employed for 25 years at Delphi Packard Electric retiring in 1994. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Niles, festival volunteer, and Blessed Mother Society. She enjoyed playing bocce, cards, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, making Christmas stockings for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was proud of her Christmas Villages she put together yearly.
Her husband Russell J. Accordino whom she married July 15, 1950 died July 3, 1979.
She will be sadly missed by three sons, Dr. Phillip Accordino and his wife Karen of Niles, Nick Accordino of Wadsworth, and Joseph Accordino of Niles, two daughters Geri Crush and her husband Dr. Douglas of Vienna and Marianne Accordino of Niles, 10 grandchildren, Nicole Accordino, Nicholas Accodino and his wife Lauren, Sarah DeCristofaro and her husband John, Anthony Accordino and his wife Sarah, Tom Gergley, Russell Accordino and his wife Danielle, Daniel Crush, Dominic Accordino and his wife Jessica, Joe Gergley, and Gina Accordino, and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Frank Cordy, Samuel Cordy, Jerome Cordy, Ermine Cordy, and Vincent Cordy, four sisters, Fanny Cordy, Julie Infante, Elizabeth Moro, and Yolanda St. Onge.
Friends may call from 4 to 7PM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Antonine Village for their kind and compassionate care for Marie during this difficult time.
