Mary A. Byrom, 69, of Niles, passed away on Saturday March 23, 2024 at University Hospital of Cleveland.
She was born July 5, 1954 in Youngstown the daughter of James and Rose Anne Piganelli Gallucci.
Mary was a 1972 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, attended Kent State University, and a graduate of ATES Technical School. She was employed as a payroll clerk for 20 years for The Trumbull County Board MRDD retiring in 1995.
Mary was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles, member and past president of The Niles Catholic Women’s Club, enjoyed spending time with her loving husband, holiday and birthday dinners with family, and hearing about her grandchildren’s activities.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Ray Byrom whom she married April 20, 1985, two daughters Juliann Hickman of Niles and Ashley Phillis and her husband Virgil of Petersburg, Ohio, a brother James A. Gallucci and his wife Jane of Niles, four grandchildren, Madilyn Hickman, Colton Hickman, Isabelle Phillis, and Rosie Phillis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Steven Gallucci.
Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Fr. Steven Agostino officiating preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral home in Niles.
