Neil Russo

Neil Russo Sr., 71, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Joseph’s Warren Hospital.
He was born November 2, 1949 in Bagnoli Irpino, Italy.
He was a 1968 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, and retired from Packard Electric.
If you wanted to find Neil, all you had to do was look outside. He most enjoyed being outdoors, especially Cooks Forest, as he said it reminded him of the mountains in his hometown.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Carol Major Russo whom he married June 16, 1973, a son Neil Russo Jr. (Cathie) of St. Petersburg, Florida, and was the proud grandfather of Gianna Russo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gennaro and Rosina Infante Russo, and his beloved pet and companion Bella.
Funeral services were private. Burial was in Niles City Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
