Nick Lamanna

Nick Lamanna, 83, of Hubbard, passed away at 12:20PM Thursday April 15, 2021 at his residence.
He was born July 9, 1937 in Oriolo Cosenza, Italy the son of Frank and Teresa Giampietro Lamanna and came to The United States in 1956 when he was 19 years old.
Nick was employed at General Motors Lordstown for 30 years retiring in 1998, member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard, enjoyed playing Solitaire and avid sports fan especially of the Cleveland Browns, Indians,and Cavs.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Rose Marie Patrone Lamanna whom he married April 30, 1960, two sons, Frank Lamanna and his wife Celeste Massullo of Bath, Ohio and Joseph Lamanna and his wife Laura of Canfield, a daughter Teresa Canfield and her husband Brian of Grove City, Ohio, a sister Lena Cuccaro of Oriolo Cosenza,Italy, four grandchildren, Brendan Lamanna, Isabella Lamanna, Dominic Colapietro, and Danielle Colapietro.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Joseph Lamanna.
Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Those coming to pay their respects to the family are kindly asked to depart the funeral home after doing so. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM Tuesday at St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.
Social distancing measures and mask wearing are required for all calling hours and services.
Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
