Pat L. Cera Sr.

Pat L. Cera Sr., 91, of Niles, passed away Friday March 19, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth’s Youngstown Hospital. He was born June 9, 1929 in Niles the son of Charles and Lillian (Bianco) Cera.
Pat was a 1947 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a graduate of Buckeye School of Watch Repair and the Cleveland Barber College.
He was a United States Air Force veteran where he achieved the rank of Sergeant and served in Japan.
Pat owned and operated Robbins Ave. Barber Shop for 37 years, retiring in 1991. A member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles, he was a life-long devoted and loving servant of his Lord.  He married his beloved wife, Jane A. Cera on October 4, 1952 and he has dearly missed her since her death May 17, 2012. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, spending time surrounded by his family and spoiling his pets. Pat will always be remembered by friends and family for his fun-loving sense of humor. 
He will be deeply missed by two sons, Pat L. Cera Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Niles, Charles J. Cera and his wife Ann of New Springfield, Ohio, two daughters, Jane Marie Cera and her wife Katherine Shumate of Columbus, Ohio, and Mary Beth Cera of Niles, six grandchildren, Kristy Lynn Cera and her fiancé Brandon Phillips, Jessica Rae Balas and her husband Shaun, David Dudgeon and his wife Jill, Jill Cuckovich and her fiancé Robert Brady, Christopher Allen and his wife Jennifer, and Jason Allen, and fourteen great-grandchildren. 
He was also preceded in death by son-in-law Kevin Allen and daughter-in-law Mary Ann (Hetrick) Cera.
Services may be held at a later date.
