Phyllis Jean Smith, 87, of Masury, passed away at 12:30PM Thursday March 5, 2020 at O’Brien Memorial Health Care Center in Masury, Ohio.
She was born May 3, 1932 in Altoona, Pennsylvania the daughter of Blair Eugene and Sadie Feathers Robinson.
Phyllis was a 1951 graduate of Youngstown East High School, employed as office manager at W.T. Grant, Lane Bryant, and Belk, and enjoyed reading and playing cards.
Her husband Gerald Smith whom she married April 30, 1949 died September 25, 2015.
She will be deeply missed by a son Guy Smith and his wife Cindy of Niles, two daughters, Cheryl Shehy and her husband Bill of Niles and Brenda Madden and her husband Jack of Girard, 13 grandchildren, Denise Wood and her husband Steve, William J. Shehy and his wife Jenn, Daniel Shehy and his wife Holly, Eric Madden and his wife Krista, Courtney Keller and his husband Matt, Jamie Metz and her husband Ted, Kimberly Middleton and her husband Larry, Kelly Overstreet, Justin Overstreet and his wife Ashley, Geoffery Smith and his wife Bethany, Katie Duggar and her husband Kurt, Emily Smith, and Patrick Smith,16 great-grandchildren, and a son-in-law Michael Overstreet of Savannah, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Overstreet, two brothers, Blair Robinson and Robert Robinson, and three sisters, Hilda Deiulius, Betty Tarr, and Doris James.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Rev. Dr. Barry C. French officiating.
Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
