Raymond W Vennitti

Raymond W. Vennitti, 76, of Mineral Ridge, passed away on Saturday November 20, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 15, 1945 in Youngstown the son of William and Mary Belcastro Vennitti.
Ray was a 1963 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a graduate of Allstate Barber College in Cleveland. He was a barber at Union Barber Shop in Niles from 1967-1972 and then went on to work at Delphi Packard Electric for 32 years retiring in 2003.
Ray was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles where he served as a church usher and adult alter server.  He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society, Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club, and enjoyed gardening, wine making, and their ‘55 T-Bird.
He was a Sergeant in the United States Army serving one year of active duty in Vietnam.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Laura Pajank Vennitti whom he married November 1, 1975, a daughter Clarise of Strongsville, two sisters, Nancy DeGood of Howland and Angela Vandegrift and her husband Richard of Howland.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother William Raymond Vennitti.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles where facial coverings are mandatory for all family and friends coming to pay their respects.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery where Ray will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St, Boardman, or the Our Lady of Mount Carmel 20/20 Project.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
