Richard T. Schuller, 77, of Niles, passed away on Friday August 6, 2021 at Continuing Health Care of Niles.
He was born October 4, 1943, in Youngstown the son of Ernest and Orrilla Veith Schuller.
Richard was a 1961 graduate of Youngstown Woodrow Wilson High School, employed for 37 years at Delphi Packard Electric retiring in 2001, and also at The Mahoning Country Club as a starter for 20 years after his retirement.
He was a member of The American Legion Post 235 in Girard, where he was a trustee for 20 years. He enjoyed golfing, casino trips, and was an avid Browns and Ohio State fan. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s extracurricular activities and was especially proud of their academic achievements at Niles and Ohio State. He was a United States Air Force Reserve Veteran from 1967-1975.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Judy Susany Schuller whom he married August 5, 1967, a son Todd of Canton, a daughter Christie Swauger and her husband Robert of Niles, a brother William Schuller and his wife Barbara of Mason, Ohio, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dick and Chris Susany of New Mexico, two grandchildren, Luke and Lindsey Swauger, and many family and friends especially Billy and Bobby.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday, August 10th and 10 to 11 AM Wednesday, August 11th at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery where Richard will be honored for his military service by The Girard Veterans Council Honor Guard.
