Ronnie D. Ritz Sr.

Ronnie D. Ritz Sr, of Niles, died 10:46pm Sunday February 13th at St Elizabeth's Boardman Hospital at the age of 75.

He was born on July 17, 1946 in Charleston, WV,  the son of Ernest Leon and Marie Lindsey Ritz. 

Ronnie was employed at Lordstown General Motors for 39 years before retiring in 2006. 

He was of Methodist faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, being an outdoorsman and especially his grandkids.

 He will be deeply missed by his wife Nancy Fennell Ritz,whom he married April 6, 1970, his son Ronnie Ritz Jr. and his wife Trisha of Winston-Salem, NC, his daughter Kimberly Ritz-Hunter of Warren, two brothers Al Ritz and his wife Sandy of Girard, Roger Ritz of Roanoke, VA, three sisters Pamela Folden and her husband Harry of Concord, NC, Tonya Moore and her husband Huber of Concord, NC, Sondra Bruce from Rockwell, NC,  a sister-in-law Sue Ritz, four grandchildren Danielle Vencel and her husband Jessie, Zora Hunter, Alexandra Ritz, Emily Jean Hunter and a nephew Dominic Fennell.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Larry Ritz.

 Private services will be held at a later date.
