Rosemary A. Neal, 77, died 5:40 a.m. on Sunday November 22nd at Antonine Village nursing home in North Jackson.
Rosemary was born January 24, 1943 in Warren, the daughter of John and Mary Chuirazzi Salapata.
Rosemary was a 1961 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. On September 24, 1966 she married Richard L. Neal.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish in Niles, and was employed at Macali's Giant Eagle in Niles as a clerk in the meat department for 13 years before retiring in 2006.
Rosemary loved her grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events and activities. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Deborah Bettura and her husband Thomas of Howland, her son Robert Neal and his wife Bethany of Elizabeth, PA., her brother Harry Salapata and his wife Kathy of Niles, her two sisters Marilyn Stevens and her husband Dennis of Girard, Carolyn Salapata of Niles, her four grandchildren Anthony and Alyssa Bettura, Evan and Justin Neal.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Nick Salapata.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where social distancing and facial coverings are mandatory.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. Social distancing measures will be upheld and facial coverings are mandatory.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
