Russell Binion, 92, of Lordstown, passed away on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House.
He was born August 28, 1928 in Enterprise, Kentucky the son of Jess and Lena Underwood Binion.
Russell was employed at Mahoning Valley Steel as a paint machine operator for 30 years before retiring in 1978.
He was a member of Niles Moose and Eagles Lodge, The Girard Senior Citizens, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
His first wife Faye Ellen Grantz Binion, whom he married November 2, 1946, died March 3, 1997.
His second wife, Carmela Toto Binion, whom he married October 10, 2001, died March 10, 2017.
He will be deeply missed by two sons, Russell John Binion and his wife, Dixie, of Braceville; Arthur Lee Binion of Braceville; a daughter, Faye Ellen Davis of Lordstown; eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jess Binion and William Binion, and two sisters, Nellie Booth and Ruby Proctor.
Outside graveside services will be held noon Saturday at The Lordstown Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Griffis officiating. Social distancing and facial coverings are mandatory.
Burial will be in Lordstown Cemetery next to his first wife.
