Walter Edwards Obituary
Walter L. Edwards, 74, of Niles, passed away at 8:47AM Sunday March 3, 2019 at Washington Square Health Care Center in Warren.
He was born July 9, 1944 in Warren, Ohio the son of Jonathon M. and Glenna Crawford Edwards.
Walter was a 1963 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, a mechanic at McKinley Lanes in Niles, and was also employed at The Tribune Chronicle. He was of Methodist faith, enjoyed bowling, and served as a corporal in The United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Brenda Malatesta of Niles, a son Walter Edwards and his wife Damaris of Show Low, Arizona, a daughter Chrystal Turner and her husband Brad of Florida, a brother Marvin Edwards and his wife Janet of Colorado, five grandchildren, Shawn, Brady, Justin, Ashley, and Jeremy, and a great-grandson Cash.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
