William H Etherington

William H. Etherington, 75, of Niles, passed away on Saturday October 28, 2023 at his residence.
He was born December 27, 1947 in Youngstown the son of John and Frances Vinarsky Etherington.
He was a 1965 graduate of Girard High School and employed at Packard Electric for 30 years. Bill was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed gardening , golfing, avid Ohio State University Football fan, and a United States Navy veteran of The Vietnam War.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Mary Lou Luther Etherington whom he married April 27, 1974, a son Michael Foley(Kelly) of Niles, two daughters, Patricia Huffman of Warren and Melissa Wimer and her husband Nik of Niles, two sisters, Carol Kuzman of Girard and Elaine Vesely and her husband Ron of Girard, three grandchildren, Shawn Huffman(Erin), Nathan Wimer and Calyn Wimer and his wife Pariss, and four great-grandchildren, Noah, Joshua, Liam, and Wyatt.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, with Fr. Steven Agostino officiating,  preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery where Bill will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
