Annette E. “Lil” Fisher, 95, of Niles went to be with the Lord at her home with her family by her side Wednesday August 12, 2015.

She was born November 14, 1919 in Niles the daughter of the late Dominic and Concetta Mangino Sundie.

Annette retired from Niles- Warren Republic Steel in 1983 after 39 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed cooking (Nana’s Italian Dinners) sewing, baking, spending time with family, and loved animals, especially her beloved dog Missy.

In 2000 Annette and her husband Bill received The Neighborhood Pride Award for the improvements they made on their house in Niles. Decorative plants and trees adorned their house and the lawn was always well tended which made their house one of the most well groomed on the block.

Her husband of 56 years, William E. Fisher Jr. whom she married December 1, 1959, died April 22, 2011.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Candace(Donald) Miller of Lordstown, two sons, William E. Fisher III of Phoenix, Arizona, and Barry Lynn(Bobbie) Fisher of Warren,  three grandchildren, Alisha Miller, Billy Fisher, and Natalie Fisher(Jennifer), and her niece Norma Floccare of Lakewood, New York and her children Douglas, Lisa, and Andrew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Frank Sundie, Anthony Sundie, John Sundie, Joseph Sundie , and Richard Sundie, and five sisters, Rose DePetro, Mary Rosile, Angeline Casanova, Sadie Bettura, and Rita Sundie, and a daughter-in-law Dina Fisher.

Friends may call Monday from 9 to 10:30AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church preceded by a 10:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.

A special thank you goes out for all the love and care given to Nana’s caregivers: Kathi, Angie, Denise, Alisha, Grace Hospice, Brenda, Vicky, and Ann.
