Anthony J. Perrone

Anthony J. Perrone, 76, of Niles died 7:30a.m. Wednesday November 30th at his residence. 

Anthony was born on February 27, 1940 in Warren, the son of Dominic and Mary Christopher Perrone. 

Anthony was a 1958 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, he continued his academic and football career at Mount Union for a year before moving on to Youngstown State University where he graduated with a business degree. 

He worked as a claims rep for almost 40 years with State Farm Insurance before retiring in 2000. He was a member of our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, San Filippo Neri, Saturday Morning Golf crew, and enjoyed cooking.

Anthony will be deeply missed by his wife Beth Satterlee Perrone, whom he married August 25, 1962, his two sons Dominic Perrone and his wife Detta of Niles, Tony Perrone and his wife Debbie of Niles, his daughter Maribeth Perrone of Niles, two sisters Theresa Vivolo and her husband Carmen of Niles, Carmel Canann and her husband Joseph of Niles, six grandchildren Nicholas and Dominic Perrone, Anthony Altobelli and his wife Lauren, Carmen Altobelli and his fiancee Kimberly Sylvester, Ella Rose and Sam Perrone,  nephews Christopher Canann and his wife Ashley and Joey Canann, who were like his grandchildren, brother-in-law Joseph Satterlee and his wife Evelyn, his loving cousins, nieces and nephews and of course his faithful dog Holly. 

Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where the Mount Carmel bereavement ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30 p.m. 

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in  Niles preceded by a 9:30 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
