Imogene “Red” Ramer, 82, of Niles died at 5:50AM Monday September 22, 2014 at Gillette Nursing Home in Warren, Ohio.
She was born January 14, 1932 in Hohenwald, Tennessee the daughter of James and Eula Smith Curry.
She was a 1951 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed in Maintenance for 10 years at General Electric in Warren, and enjoyed playing bingo, making jewelry, and watching old movies.
Her husband William Ramer whom she married July 15, 1954, died January 3, 2009.
She will be deeply missed by a son Keith Ramer and his wife Debbie of Austintown, a brother Gary Curry and his wife Barbara of Niles, a sister Lola Masciangelo and her husband Alfred of Warren, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by a son James Ramer, two brothers, Frank Curry, and Jesse Curry, and two sisters, Hessie Young and Ernestine Curry.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
