Irene R. Prezioso

Irene R. Prezioso, 78, of Niles, died at 7:21AM Wednesday July 22, 2015 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

She was born January 13, 1937 in Youngstown the daughter of Thaddeus and Catherine Mullarkey Dillon.

Irene was a 1955 graduate of Girard High School, a homemaker, a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed spending time with family, attending social events with friends, and traveling.

Her husband Joseph A. Prezioso whom she married February 1955 died January 25, 1998.

She will be deeply missed by her seven children, Mary Lou Savon-Williams and her husband Edward of Boardman, Cathy Prezioso of Niles, Dr. Joseph Prezioso of Boston, Massachusetts, Susan Negro and her husband David of Niles, Maureen Ridel and her husband Frank of Canfield, Diane Price and her husband Brian of Boardman, and Richard Prezioso and his wife Amie of Niles, 11 grandchildren, Gina Prezioso, Joe Prezioso, Jennifer Latell, Jamie Prezioso,  Laura Ridel, Michael Negro, Tyler Negro, Emily Price, Jack Babich, Max Babich, and Grace Babich, 2 great-grandchildren, Bree Latell and Milania Prezioso, a sister Mary Kuester of Girard, a daughter-in-law Debbie Prezioso of Howland, and son-in-law Peter Babich of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael Prezioso and Lawrence Prezioso, a daughter Nancy Prezioso-Babich, a brother Thaddeus Dillon, and a son-in-law Ronald Savon.

Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
