My deepest sympathy to the family. My prayers are with all of you. I happened to be looking for Sam's obituary yesterday because I couldn't remember what year he passed and was shocked to see Josephine's name pop up with an obituary. My Dad had just talked to her recently and she had just gotten out of the hospital. I am so sorry that we missed the funeral. Sam and Jo were my godparents. My Dad had been friends with them since the early 70s. Sam and my Dad worked together at the Post Office. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know.
