MARIA (MARY) PALLANTE
Mary went to Heaven to be with Jesus Christ on July 21st, 2016.
She was born to Raphail and Antonia Moranti DeAngelis on October 26, 1929 in Campotosto, Italy
She came to Niles on November 15, 1949 and was married on November 10th 1952 to Domenic whom she met at Idora Park.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker raising three children Domenic of Girard, Connie Papalas of Michigan, and Anthony of California.
She had two grandsons that she adored,  AJ Pallante and Steve Papalas.
She is also survived by seven nephews, Ernie and Ralph DeAngelis ( Melissa), Anthony Pallante (Maryann), Ralph, Tony, John (Sharon) & Rich Nicastro (Donna)  and three nieces, Mary Jane Cubellis, Antonetta DeAngelis and Raphaela Frech, a nephew in law David Peterson, and her son-in-law John Papalas
One Niece Eloise (Pallante) Peterson preceded her in death.

She was parishioner of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish, a member of The Immaculate Mary Society, and served as a lay minister.
She loved cooking and anyone who entered her home was encouraged strongly to "manga, manga".
She had a good sense of humor, was a great listener, and was extremely kind.  She had a sharp mind until her last breath. Her faith was strong and her belief was unshakable.
She enjoyed daily conversations and during good weather sitting outside with her next door neighbor of 60 years Lucy Meloro, the nearly daily visits of her niece Antonetta, the regular drop by's of her nephew Ralph, his wife Melissa and son Mike, as well as her wonderful next door neighbor Ruth, who would check on her in recent years just to see how she was doing.

She will be missed greatly by her children and grandchildren, family members as well as the many friends and people who loved her.

Her husband Domenic passed away January 16, 1988.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother Terigio DeAngelis and his wife Pasqua, brother and sister in-law's Neil and Ann Pallante and Concetta and Elia Nicastro.
The Family would also like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses and Aides who took care of her during the last month at St Joseph Hospital.
