Peggy M. Erro, 74, died at 3:50 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at Briarfield Manor in Austintown.
She was born March 22, 1942, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Frank and Mary Rebar Kurimsky.
She was a graduate of Penn Hills High School and employed as a teachers aide at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and Lincoln Elementary School in Niles before retiring. Peggy was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, church festival volunteer, and enjoyed antiquing.
Her husband, Nick Erro whom she married Nov. 25, 1959, died May 24, 2016.
Peggy, who loved her family, will be deeply missed by four sons, Nick Erro and his wife, Jennifer, Dennis Erro, and his wife, Lisa, Tim Erro and his wife, Diane, and Rob Erro and his wife, Tammy; a daughter, Becky Gatta and her husband, Bob; three brothers, Tom Kurimsky, Dick Kurimsky and his wife, Mary Lou, and Fr. Frank Kurimsky; four sisters, Frances Kurimsky, Dorothy Kurimsky and her husband, Carlos Sanchez, Joanne Roberts and her husband, Bill, and Linda Driggers and her husband, John; 11 grandchildren, Ashleigh, Nick, Greg, Nick, Mike, Leigh, Ally, Jess, Randi, Morgan, and Maddy’ and two great-grandchildren, Tessa and Amelia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Billy Kurimsky.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Joseph Rossi & Sons Funeral Home in Niles, where the Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, preceded by a 9:30 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Niles City Cemetery.
