Eric A. Heinselman, 60, of Niles, died Monday April 25, 2016 at his residence.
He was born May 7, 1955 in Akron, Ohio the son of Frank Albert and Donna Jean Marzi Heinselman.
He was a 1973 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration.
Eric was employed at General Motors Lordstown for 42 years, a member of The Carroll F. Clapp Lodge #655 where he served as Master Mason, The Al Koran Shriners, The American Pool Association, The Experimental Aircraft Association, and a Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed playing pool, motorcycles, flying Ultralite Airplanes, and spending time with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Mercedes P. Gilman Heinselman of 34 years, two sons, Frank A. Heinselman and his wife Jessica of Canfield, Hunter A. Heinselman of Sacramento, California, four daughters, Halsey A. Heinselman of Niles, Marzi A. Heinselman Morrison and her husband Michael of Central Islip, New York, Carlisle A. Heinselman of Niles, McKenzi A. Heinselman of Niles, three brothers, David A. Heinselman and his wife Pat of Columbus, Ohio, Cregg A. Heinselman of Niles, and Ken A. Heinselman and his wife Michele of Niles, and a sister, Leanne A. Foley and her husband Michael of Waynesville, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and an infant son Warren Allen Heinselman.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Carroll F. Clapp Masonic Lodge will conduct prayers at 4:45PM.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Jared Woodard officiating. Friends may also call one half hour prior to service on Friday at the funeral home.
