Nick M. Erro, 77, of Niles died at 12:05AM Tuesday May 24, 2016 at Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Home in Niles.
He was born December 29, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of Nick and Ann Maver Erro.
He was a 1957 graduate of Plum High School, employed in Maintenance at General Motors Lordstown for 37 years retiring in 2002, a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed listening to Polka Music, and an avid Pittsburgh Steeler, Pirate, and Cleveland Indians fan.
Nick, who loved his church and family, will be deeply missed by his mother of Cranberry, Pennsylvania, his wife Peggy Kurimsky Erro whom he married November 25, 1959, four sons, Nick Erro and his wife Jennifer, Dennis Erro and his wife Lisa, Tim Erro and his wife Diane and Rob Erro and his wife Tammy, a daughter Becky Gatta and her husband Bob, a sister Kathy Forman and her husband Ron, eleven grandchildren, Ashleigh, Nick, Greg, Nick, Mike, Leigh, Ally, Jess, Randi, Morgan, and Maddy, and two great-grandchildren, Tessa and Amelia.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 7:30PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
