My Sincere Sympathy and Condolences....thoughts and prayers. Hope you don't mind the poetry I wrote,I am a published Author. A dedication to you and your family.
Faith Of A Thousand Hearts
I will give my life for you upon this earth,
to live again behind heaven's gate eternally.
For you are my love, my angel, my entire world,
sacrifice is the ultimate deed of love's bond.
Saying good-bye to you would be my hell,
but knowing you are breathing safely
would make the fire seem like winter's bite.
Giving to you my soul as I close my eyes,
will enable to rest peaceful in the earth of time.
Love me, just love me for as long as I have,
for there is no other I would rather kiss with life.
As our touch parts from darkness of our world,
we realized we were real embraced with faith,
graced with an ignited ecstasy of a lifetime.
This is what you will need to live your life,

'To Protect And Serve'
It's too bad
that faith and faith alone
cannot stop the darkness
that surrounds us now,
that those who protect us
need guns to bring down the bad guys.
Sometimes we lose our most precious gift,
our lives,yes our lives.
the few,the good,the faithful
need to pull the trigger
to burn down the night
with no questions asked.
Just a feeling of security
that the streets are safe,
our homes are protected
by the bravest of the brave.
May God be with them
in heaven as it is in the darkest alley.
Let shine in the light of hope
as the badge of golden courage

I was so shocked and deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Chic was such a great guy! I really can't think of any words to help ease your pain, but my sympathy goes out to you and your family.
