Constance L. Brown

Constance L. “Connie” Brown, 66 of Niles died Monday April 11, 2016 at The ClevelandClinic.
She was born August 31, 1949 in Kenton, Ohio the daughter of F. Joseph and Ruth MileyPeters.
She was a 1967 graduate of Marion Harding High School and a 1971 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education.
She taught for 16 years in The Niles City School District retiring in 2014.  She was a member of The Trumbull Retired Teachers Association, Niles Classroom Teachers 
Association, Ohio Education Association, The Niles Historical Society, and served as a docent at The Ward-Thomas House. She also supported Relay For Life, was a patron of 
Trumbull New Theatre, enjoyed reading, knitting, spending time with her grandchildren, and a proud alumna of The Ohio State University.
She will be deeply missed by a son Andrew W. Brown and his wife Kelly of Westerville, Ohio, a daughter Sarah Bixler and her husband Zachary of Aurora, Ohio, a brother Joseph
M. Peters and his wife Kathleen of Marion, Ohio, and five grandchildren, Jacob, Daniel, and Matthew Brown, and Samantha and Allyson Bixler.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 6PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
A private committal service will be held at a later date at Hale Cemetery in Mt. Victory, Ohio. 
Material contributions can be made to the Connie Brown Memorial Fund.
