Sandy,
Just heard. Larry and I are sending our condolences and prayers.
It is hard to believe that Mom (Helen Hoffman) has been gone 11 months.
I remember Phil and his waves from across the dining room.

So sorry for your loss. We used to take our girls to dinner at the restaurant in Hubbard. He was always so kind to them. They loved going there because he always gave them ice cream after dinner.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to the Giulianni family. I knew Mr. Giulianni when he played old timers baseball with my father (Jerry Deal). He was the kindest, most gentle man I have ever met. I will always remember his smile. May God keep you close during this very difficult time.

Phil and I grew up together. We met in 2nd grade at Munroe Elementary and attended Niles city schools. We both played basketball and baseball. We were Steel Valley champs in '54, and I still have the framed picture in my home.
Later, I would visit Phil at his restaurants in Brookfield and Hubbard. We'd catch up over breakfast. He was a true friend, and he'll be greatly missed.

We are deeply saddened by Phil's passing. He was our boss at Gulianos for many years. My mother was Kathy Dorus, she worked for him for 30 years. Me and husband met working together for Phil, we always told Phil.he was our matchmaker. We will never forget him, or the fish he used to serve. RIP Phil.

Phil was a great classmate and baseball teammate and NHS. He was always there to help. We will keep him in out daily prayers. Yea, he is probably already "going for two" after a base hit "up there". Our entire class will miss him. JIM
