Dear Louellen & Family, We have been out of the country and came back to the sad news of Bryan passing away. Bryan and I worked together for years and I will remember his humor and work ethic. He was a great man and will be greatly missed by all. We are truly sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss. I work in the CMM Room at Parma with Bryan. We would talk about The Lord and what he does for us in our life. Bryan would ask me about how I felt when I gave a sermon at the church I attend. The Moody classes I was taking and I would give him copies that I had from class. I know Bryan is with The Lord Jesus Christ and he is surrounded by the love of God. I will remember him, Always as a friend and coworker.
You are all in my Prayers and may the memories you share bring you Peace.

My deepest sympathy to all of the Maschgan family. I had the privilege of talking with Brian several times last fall in keeping him updated on "Uncle Randy's" condition. When I finally had the opportunity to meet him in person he truly made me feel like I was one of the family. He was kind, gentle, caring, and very welcoming. What a special man. I am so very sorry for your loss. Even from the little I know about Brian, I am certain he is with Christ in Heaven. Your loss is Heaven's gain for sure. God's blessings of peace and comfort in your time of sorrow.

Dear Lou Ellen and Family,
It is with sadness that I send my sincerest sympathy at the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. I worked with Bryan at Hiram College to design his online courses. I found Bryan to be one of the most sincere, authentic, honest, and dligent human beings I have ever known. He was truly passionate about his teaching and always tried to ensure that his students not only had the best resources and information available, but that they also learned to apply the information in their daily lives, both professionally and personally.
Bryan was always willing to listen and try new things as we experimented with online learning strategies to improve his courses. He was a joy to work with and I will miss him as a colleague and a friend.
Yours truly,
Elizabeth Simeral

I was very sorry to hear about Bryan's passing. I have fond memories of Bryan from his Master's program at Case (2001-03). We were part of a close team of professionals and friends and it was a pleasure to have Bryan's participation as part of the experience. We will be sure to take the time to remember Bryan at a future reunion.

Bryan Maschgan was my professor at Hiram College for two classes, and I thoroughly enjoyed each one. He was the kind of professor that truly cared for his students. He would take the time to answer questions, and made sure that each student had what was needed to be successful. His passion for God was evident, because he talked often of his men's ministry, so I know that he is at peace.

I have since graduated from Hiram, and I often use the knowledge he provided to me. He will live on in all of the hearts that he has touched, and will be missed. My deepest condolences to the Maschgan family.

Dear Maschgan family, I am so sorry for your loss. May the Lord bless you and keep you at this difficult time. I have known Bryan for just a few years and he was always so cheerful and gracious. I facilitate a Catholic Men's Fellowship group for Holy Spirit Church in Uniontown OH. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was talking with Bryan about how to grow the organization and the role men's groups play in strengthening the Youngstown Diocese. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Peace and Blessings.
